At the heart of everything we do, sits the word ‘bespoke’. A notion that has started to take off and become known by our customers, a notion that shapes the future for Curiousa.
We were recently approached by Liz Millington Interiors who as part of the refurbishments for Ragdale Hall, were looking for something a bit different for the Verandah Bar lighting. The Hall itself combines state-of-the-art facilities with the charm of traditional Victorian architecture to create one of the most luxurious and relaxing health spas in the country. A mixture of old and new – just what we love!
We’d never designed a chandelier like this one and as we always do with new projects, learnt a lot along the way! There were challenges from electricians, architects, questions about head height and more! As a collaborative project though we were able to work together to figure out how best to utilise what space we did have.
Eight different pendants adorn the ring, with eight different colours of glass in different shapes; those enjoying the pieces can find themselves getting lost in these feature pieces.
“The feedback from the guests has been amazing and they have been very pleased that we’ve been able to update the area without losing the essence of the much loved original room”
We don’t want customers to be afraid to bring their lighting dreams to life; we have some of the best designers, suppliers and glassblowers around… Challenge us!!
