AUTHENTERIOR – TOKYO
Esther first met Kumiko in 2015, when she was visiting the UK with a fledgling business concept – to bring the best of British interior design to the Japanese market.

Strict import regulations for electrical goods were navigated by Curiousa providing glass only, and for Kumiko to source, with Esther’s collaboration, a Japanese based supplier for the electrical fittings.

Since then, Kumiko and her now flourishing interior design company, Atelier Favori, has acted as Curiousa’s sole agent in Japan.

FUTURE HERITAGE In 2021, as part of Decorex International’s Future Heritage programme, Esther was asked to collaborate to develop a series of light pieces with Adam Nathanial Furman, whose bold and primary colour ways were in contrast to Esther’s more natural pallete. The resulting Glowbule collection not only pushed the boundaries of colour and form, but the technical innovation needed to achieve Adam’s design vision has been used in Esther’s latest Wave collection.

ISABEL CORDERO-PADILLA Esther and Isabel have not only shared a 25 year friendship but also a shared passion for the arts and interior design. Building upon Isabel’s often eclectic and sometimes off-the-wall approach, they have developed several light pieces in collaboration, including the Isabel Chandelier and the Tiger Lily, whilst her playful approach also inspired our range of Vintage Siren Wall Lights.
