Introducing the Vecchio Pendant Light, a striking new design from The Carnival Collection—an expressive evolution of our renowned Sculptural Stack Series. Handcrafted in our Derbyshire studio, Vecchio combines slip-cast porcelain, hand-turned wood, and our signature free-blown glass to create a richly layered and highly tactile lighting piece.
Taking inspiration from the bold geometry of the Harlequin motif—rooted in 16th-century Italian Commedia dell’arte—the Carnival Collection celebrates joyful contrasts. Much like the patchwork costumes of the Harlequins, pieced together from fabric remnants, the Vecchio plays with form and material, combining porcelain, wood, and glass in a refined yet playful composition.
The Vecchio is designed as a statement light, equally suited to hanging over a dining table, flanking a sofa or bedside, or suspended in multiples as part of a cascading cluster in stairwells, hotel foyers, or other large-scale spaces.
Each Vecchio pendant is made to order and fully customisable. Choose from a palette of 10 hand-pigmented ceramic colours and 10 softly diffused glass tones to create your own sculptural composition.
